so i bought a book with about 100 pages full of ledger lines, and i spent about an hour writing a song for the piano. i have about 18 measures memorized and about 9 written down, so wish me luck!
its a piece called Half Asleep
its based on the poems and pictures i talked about earlier ^_^
I've always wanted to try and write my own music. I usually end up with something from a Pink Floyd song or some other kind of lick that's already been made. Could you write a song for guitar, that kinda has a bluesy/progressive rock feel to it?

i don't know wat it'll turn out sounding like (im not to good at "classifying" music)
but anything written for piano can apply to flute, guitar, voice, and most if not all instruments that need a mallet. you would need more than 1 instrument for the one im writing (its a quartet piece) but it might work since i don't know about playing 2 parts at once on the guitar ^_^
