The Oak Violin

Posted by redjokerx - November 3rd, 2009

hey, this is the story thingy i was talking about earlier, please don't make fun of it if you don't like it!
kidding! any kind of input is good, cause then ill edit it and try again in a week or two (after everyone forgets about it) sorry its a bit late, since it's a haloweeny kinda thing
hope you like it!

On this very day, 25 years ago, there was a young woman named Scarlet. Through out the many hardships, she always kept strong, but she wasn't alone. She had her oak violin.

The music she could create was said to be so powerful, it could bring the dead to dance once more. She played so sad and woefully beautiful, but it seemed that no one would ever listen.

On rainy days, her mother would force her outside to the unpaved trails of the forest and mountains. But still, the music would flow from her violin as smoothly and clear as water in the rivers and streams.

She sometimes would run away, if only for a little while, to escape being with her mother. She would visit the different parts of the mountain trails, both there and not, run along streams to find the perfect spot to play her violin. Perfectly sunny afternoons, so rare to appear, would always be taken advantage for every minute of the day.

It was one of those days, and Scarlet climbed inside a small opening, just large enough to lay her case in, and began to play.

As she continued to weave her tale into melodies so calm and clear, the sky began to darken with the tears of Scarlet. One by one, each small sphere hit the ground, leaving specks of black at Scarlet's feet. But so caught up in creating her tune, she hardly noticed anything but a chill from the wind.

Nothing reached her till dark.

She looked up to a wall of wet black surrounding her, and she saw she had no where to go but back.
Scarlet placed her violin every so gently in it's case, and headed to the back of the now much larger cave.

(page 1 of like 4 or something)
ill type the rest in a bit!
