One more thing...it's VITAL....that you stay POSITIVE.
When consulting the questions to yourself and to others.
But its okay to 'break-down' once in a while.
Take a listen to this...

Anxieties of past and unpleasant occurrences are often the worst for anyone to handle.
But one must always understand the you can't forget your past. It'll always be there affecting your present life even if you can't remember it.
So I would recommend consulting the problem by yourself though a series of questions like...
1. What have I learned from this?
2. How can I avoid getting into an unpleasant situation like this?
3. etc.
Ask questions about your predicament (*to yourself first) and your mind will even automatically come up with solutions, almost as if by themselves.
And this will in term make you feel better about your conundrum.
You can't be hard on yourself for being in situations you wished you could've avoided. But look at it in a positive manner. You did all you could at the time, you are smarter about the situation, and you've gained experienced and knowledge you could pass on - making you a 'wise one'.
You should feel good about your current situation.
Although if you are indeed lost, consult with someone you trust.
Preferably a family member.

Nothing in life is perfect - nor is it a fairy-tale.
But happiness is all about one's attitude towards situations in life.
And problem solving (like math) is a way of thinking to easily get yourself out or feel better about ANY unpleasant situation.
"Methodical Optimism" is what I call it.
